Every culture uses the arts to communicate to and about itself - its history, values, entertainment, beliefs, and ultimately its worldview. Art therefore has the power to impact a culture through its ability to engage the soul of a culture. Major movements in recent history have been accompanied with “sympathetic” art-forms, be it evil propaganda, or the heart-cry of civil rights movements.
God has and always will act with infinite, wondrous creativity. He draws us to Himself by richly filling our senses and imaginations. It is our joy to fulfill the Great Commission by acting as He does - awakening people to know Him through story, song and beauty of every form.
